How Our Ratings Are Created
BookLooky.com uses two tiers: an AI estimate from metadata, and an official full-text scan. Corrections are reviewed against the published rubric, separately from billing.
AI catalog estimate
On BookLooky.com, a search or cover scan can produce an AI estimate from the description and publisher metadata. That score is an estimate, not a reading of the full manuscript.
Official full-text scan
Authors, publishers, and institutions can pay for an official scan. The MIT-licensed rater scores the full transcript and the book page labels that result separately from the AI estimate.
Corrections
Anyone can suggest a correction on a book page. Suggestions are reviewed against the published rubric. Payment does not buy a target score.
