Reading Should Be for Everyone
BookLooky.org provides every reader with free, spoiler-free book content ratings, so everyone can make informed choices about what they read.
Our Impact
Together, we’re helping readers everywhere find the right books with confidence.
What We Do
BookLooky.org is the in-formation literacy foundation behind BookLooky, dedicated to making spoiler-free book ratings free to look up on BookLooky.com.
Free Book Ratings
Every reader deserves to know what's in a book before they read it. We provide free, spoiler-free content ratings powered by the Looky Rating System (LRS).
Literacy Access
We partner with schools, libraries, and community organizations so families can look up spoiler-free ratings and make their own reading choices.
Confident Reading Choices
From parents choosing bedtime stories to teachers building classroom libraries, we give every reader the tools to make confident, informed reading choices.
The Looky Rating System (LRS)
Ten categories on a 0–5 scale, in two groups. Content Intensity measures strength and frequency. Story Themes measure how central a theme is. Age guidance uses bands 1+, 4+, 8+, 13+, and 18+.
