Our Mission
BookLooky Literacy Foundation is being organized as a Texas 501(c)(3) (in formation) nonprofit. Our mission is to empower every parent, teacher, librarian, veteran, and reader worldwide with free, spoiler-free book ratings and age guidance. Looking up ratings on BookLooky.com will always remain free. Official full-text scans and library bulk catalog processing are paid services on BookLooky.com. We are seeking fiscal sponsorship. The Foundation is not yet a registered 501(c)(3), and donations are not tax-deductible today.

The Looky Rating System (LRS)
The official transcript rater is open source (MIT) on GitHub. Content Intensity and Story Themes each use a 0–5 scale. Story theme scores describe how central a theme is, not whether it is a warning. Age guidance uses 1+, 4+, 8+, 13+, and 18+. BookLooky is not a government or movie-style rating.
